Magic Item Draft
Hello, fellow Herohammerers!
A while ago I created rules for Magic Item Draft as a simple expansion for the 5th edition of WFB. The main goal was to promote using less common magic items and to get rid of old item combos. This makes heroes less impactful and gives units an edge. Now we use Magic Item Draft in every game we play. To test it on your own, all you need is a set of cards from 5th ed Warhammer Magic and a set of color-matched card sleeves (standard size - 66x91 mm UltraPro deck protectors work great for me).

The rules are just one page of text, I hope you like them as much as we do!

A Tale of Seven Gamers - Final - Oldhammer Weekend Poland
That was a busy weekend. I participated in Oldhammer Weekend Poland - Warhammer Fantasy Battles 5th edition narrative campaign. It was really fun! My Chaos Dwarf force led by Gilgamesh the Son of Hashut was baptized in the fire of the battle. They managed to defeat the warriors of Dwarfs, Wood Elves and the Empire of Man. On top of that, I received the award of the best-painted army! I am already thinking what to paint for the next year Oldhammer Weekend :)

A Tale of Seven Gamers - Enkidu on Humbaba the Horrible
I needed some rest from mass painting, so I decided to go for the big guy, the mighty sorcerer Enkidu riding into battle mounted on Humbaba the Horrible:

Enkidu was created by the gods to defeat Gilgamesh |
Enkidu lost the fight and former enemies became lovers |
A Tale of Seven Gamers - Blunderbusses
Today I present you my one weekend project, a unit of 14 Chaos Dwarf Blunderbusses. I was painting them together with a small unit of Chaos Dwarf Warriors, but I need to paint the shield before I post them here. Closer and closer th Oldhammer Weekend Polnad (5 days).

A Tale of Seven Gamers - The End is Nigh!
Hello Herohammerers,
The Oldhammer Weekend is so close, only 6 days left. Unfortunately, I have still a lot to paint to complete my Chaos Dwarfs project, but I will try to do my best! Here are some artillery pieces already complete and waiting for the rest of the army:

A Tale of Seven Gamers Q2
A Tale of Seven Gamers Q2 already started, so it is time to declare this quarter goal. To complete Q2 I need to paint 500 points of Chaos Dwarf models, so I picked the units which will make my army battle ready (5th edition, 1k pts). To achieve this I need one unit of Chaos Dwarf Warriors (rules requirement) and something extra to fill the points and add some flavor. I decided to put my money on good old dwarf stuff - artillery. So here is how it comes to 500 points:
- 16 Warriors (including command)
- Earthshaker
- Death Rocket

A Tale of Seven Gamers Q1 Completed
As I mentioned earlier, I declared to paint my new Chaos Dwarf army General as the first stage of A Tale of Seven Gamers painting challenge. So here he is, Gilgamesh Son of Hashut Chaos Dwarf Lord riding The Bull of Heaven:

Oldhammer Weekend Summary
Two weekends ago I brought my Waaagh! to Oldhammer Weekend Poland - narrative campaign, based on Warhammer Fantasy Battle 5th edition rules. I have met so many great people, it was a great fun! My passion for Greenskins grew after I saw them running randomly over the battlefield bringing death and confusion into the ranks of their enemies. There was a battle against the Stunties in which my force dealt more casualties to itself than it received from enemy dwarfs :)
Also, I am glad to inform you that my Waaagh! was honored with The Artist Award - hurray!

The event made me very excited about 5th edition once more and the latest reactivation of the blog is caused by the energy I got from it.
I hope you enjoy the 5th edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle as much as I am.
Cheers,
Guter
